Baby Blues

Meaning:

  • (Noun) Agreed by many to have originated in the US, this slang refers to the eyes of a person, specifically if they have shining blue eyes. Be careful though as this slang could also refer to postnatal depression. 
  • Example: His striking baby blues are what really captured my heart. 

Digits

Meaning:

  • (Noun) “Digits” simply refers to one’s fingers but in some cases, it could be used for one’s toes. 
  • Example: You better be careful when slicing some meat. You might lose some digits. 

Dome

Meaning:

  • (Noun) This slang refers to the head, more specifically the top part of the head where the cranium is located. It is known as such because of its dome-like shape. 
  • Example: His dome was damaged during the accident. He has never been the same since.

Glutes

Meaning:

  • (Noun) The slang term comes from the scientific name “gluteus maximus,” which also refers to the butt.
