You might have heard some up-and-coming rappers spit out their verses and use the slang “Lemonade.” You wonder what it means, and isn’t it too out of place? However, lemonade has an entirely different meaning in rap.

When some rappers use lemonade, they might:

  • Refer to the high you get when using recreational drugs. It acts as a euphemism.

“I’m so lemonade that I will probably get fired for this!”

  • You might also use lemonade to refer to any drugs taken in liquid form.

“You better stop sipping that lemonade, or you might end up in prison.”

The most recent and prominent use of “Lemonade” in rap is Internet Money’s song titled “Lemonade.”
