Example Poem/Song Using Tinkle
I heard a little tinkle, like a jingle in the night,
A single sound that caught me, and filled me with delight.
It made me stop and listen, to the ringing in my ears,
A tiny little sound that somehow eased my fears.
It was the sound of crinkling, a hint of wrinkle too,
And a shingle in the wind that made me want to coo.
The tinkle mingled with the jangle, as if they danced a jig,
And I couldn’t help but smile at the silly little rig.
I followed the sound of tinkle, to see where it would lead,
And found a little birdie, with a song he did concede.
His wings began to flutter, as he gave a little tweet,
And I stood there mesmerized, by his little birdy beat.
The tinkle of his feathers, and the flutter of his wings,
Made me feel a sense of joy, and all the lovely things.
It was like a tingling, in my heart and in my soul,
A little dose of happiness, to help me feel whole.
So when I hear a tinkle, or a jingle in the night,
I’ll remember that little birdie, and his song of pure delight.
For even in the darkest times, a little tinkle can be found,
To lift us up and help us fly, to higher, happier ground.
